Evalyn - Cherry Lambo

After having released her debut solo single, "Filthy Rich" earlier this year, which recently got the remix treatment from none other than Sweater Beats himself, rising Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Evalyn now returns with her second single called "Cherry Lambo", a song that was written during the US election season and reflective of being a twenty-something person living in the digital age. Co-written with Rockwell Sands and Guy Gabriel in a grungy house in Los Angeles' Koreatown, the song came to fruition over a late night conversation around "what should I be doing?". Mixed by Grammy nominated producer Johnny Karkazis and mastered by Howie Weinberg, "Cherry Lambo" paints ever so relatable emotions as Evalyn preaches the search for empowerment and self-confidence over a rocking melody:
"If you got high hopes, but still feel low, baby you're just like me."

Speaking on the track, Evalyn says:

"'Cherry Lambo' is about being lost and confused and freaked out and trying to just enjoy it a little bit and find some camaraderie in not knowing what the hell is going on"

Listen to "Cherry Lambo" below and stay tuned for more new music from Evalyn as she prepares for the release of her forthcoming debut EP, Sandcastle, due out in October
